So once-upon-a-time =temporary-glitch and *Keysha-chan did an art trade together. And Keysha asked for Mer-trio. And Tempy did several lovely sketches but wasn't satisfied with them. But Keysha fell in love with one in particular and asked if she may ink and colour it herself. And Tempy said yes. And Keysha was happy.

And now I present you with colours to burn your eyeballs out of their sockets. X3 I was originally going to put a blue gradient over the top of this image, but it would have killed the colours on their tails...so I ended up leaving it.

I DO like the original far more - you can see more of their tail scales where-as you can only see the white-drawn ones in the scan.

Process was:
=temporary-glitch - Sketched it on her computer.
*Keysha-chan - Printed the sketch, transfered it with the lightbox. Added in the background (fishes and such) Inked and coloured.

I know that makes me sound like I did most of the bulk of the work, but really Tempy did a BIG job on the three guys. I LOVE how she made them. Take pitty that some of her beautiful lines got lost in the inking - thanks to my coloured inks not being fine enough. XO

I considered doing more colours in Demyx's tail like in her original mer-Demyx picture, but I ended up just sticking to this colour layout for them (I always seem to give Roxas green).
